Account Deletion Request

This page explains what account deletion involves and lets you submit a deletion request. Moira is operated by Daniel Burkett. If you have questions, contact us at support@moira-astro.com.
1. What Deletion Removes
Submitting a deletion request asks us to permanently erase the following data associated with your account:
- Your account record and login credentials (managed through Clerk)
- All saved natal charts and synastry comparisons
- Your profile information and any preferences stored on our servers
- Any other personal data associated with your user record in our database
Billing and transaction records are retained separately for up to 7 years for tax and accounting purposes, as described in our Data Retention policy.
2. Before You Request Deletion
Please cancel any active subscription before submitting this request. Account deletion does not automatically cancel a Stripe subscription. If your subscription is active at the time of deletion, it may continue to bill until cancelled separately. You can cancel your subscription from your account settings or via the Stripe customer portal linked from your account page. If you need help cancelling, contact us at support@moira-astro.com.
3. How Deletion Works
Account deletion is currently a manual process — there is no self-serve instant-delete option. When you submit the form below, we receive your request and process it within 30 days. We will send a confirmation to the email address you provide once your data has been erased. If you do not receive a confirmation within 30 days, please follow up at support@moira-astro.com.
Deletion is permanent and cannot be undone. If you later decide to use Moira again, you would need to create a new account.
